Are there fees for buyers?

Buyers pay a 6% fee on completed purchases, before applicable sales tax. The buyer fee is billed to the card on your account.

Do buyers need a Copart account?

No. Public buyers can register directly with QuickAuction. If you already have a Copart account, you can use your existing credentials to get started.

How does bidding work?

Auctions run for seven days. When bidding ends, the seller has 24 hours to accept or decline the highest offer. Once accepted, the buyer and seller arrange payment and pickup directly.

What types of items can buyers purchase?

Browse automobiles, motorcycles, watercraft, heavy equipment, auto parts, memorabilia, and other supported categories. Check each listing for its condition, location, and current availability.

Sellers

Is there a fee to sell items?

Listing is free. For a completed sale under $500, the seller fee is $10. From $500 to under $5,000, it is $40. At $5,000 or more, it is $95. All fees are before applicable sales tax. If your item does not sell, you pay no seller fee.

What can sellers list on QuickAuction?

You can list automobiles, motorcycles, watercraft, heavy equipment, auto parts, memorabilia, and other approved items. Add clear photos, item details, and proof of ownership when you create your listing.

What happens after an item is listed?

Our team reviews your listing before it goes live. Choose a seven-day Auction or a 30-day Inventory listing with an Asking Price. Buyers can bid or make offers, depending on the listing type. You approve the sale.

Do I have to accept the highest bid?

No. The highest bid is an offer. You have 24 hours to accept or decline it after the auction ends. If you decline or let the offer expire, you pay no seller fee and can relist for free.
