Procedure for Submitting Notices of Alleged Copyright Infringement

QuickAuction.com respects the intellectual property rights of others and requires its users and account holders to do the same.

If you have reason to believe that any material located on QuickAuction.com or linked to by Copart.com on QuickAuction.com infringes your copyright rights, please submit a written notice of claimed infringement that includes substantially the following information required under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyrighted work that has been allegedly infringed;
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of such works;
  3. A description of the material you claim is infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, including information regarding the location of the material on QuickAuction.com in reasonably sufficient detail to permit us to locate and remove and/or disable access to the material;
  4. Your full legal name, company affiliation (if any), mailing address, telephone number, and an email address at which we may contact you;
  5. A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the use of the allegedly infringing material is not authorized by you as the copyright owner; and
  6. A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed or that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Upon receipt of a notice with the foregoing information, Copart may, in appropriate circumstances and at Copart’s discretion, remove or disable access to the material or disable any links to the material; notify the party accused of infringement that we have removed or disabled access to the accused material; and/or take action against users who infringe or repeatedly infringe the copyright rights of others, including but not limited to termination, suspension, or restriction of access, and/or imposition of other actions or restrictions as stated in the QuickAuction.com Terms of Service or other policies.
